Day 90 Movement Control Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
“Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed…”
Daniel 3:25
How often we missed the great truths in little words!
If you read the above verse carefully, you will notice that the three men who were thrown into the fiery furnace came out just as they went in – except for the ropes that had bound them!
The gem of truth is this:- “Many times, God uses the furnace of affliction to remove the shackles and bondages in our life.”
Young Joseph was shackled by his novice, uncut potential and being ‘daddy’s boy’ – saying things that he shouldn’t say. Look at how the dungeons and furnace of affliction ‘unbound’ him to become the man of the hour. This is what it means when the Word says, “when I am weak – then I become strong!” (2 Cor. 12:10)
Isn’t there something captivating about the sight of a person burdened with many trials, yet who is as light hearted as the sound of a bird? Isn’t there something contagious and valiant in seeing others who are greatly tempted but are “more than conquerors” (Rom. 8:37)? Isn’t it heartening to see someone who is under severe pressure but yet retains the splendour of unbroken patience?
A person has only as much faith and virtues as he shows in times of trouble.
What about you today? Are you going through some “furnace of fire”? Take heart! It may be the very thing that God is using to set you free from a bondage and to make you strong!
