Day 60 Movement Control Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
“My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9.
God had used Paul in mighty miracles like healing the sick; setting people free from demonic possession and even raising the dead. He had a major influence in the early Church and had taken the gospel to numerous countries.
And in his moment of need which he termed as a ‘thorn in his flesh’ he begged God 3 times to take it away and God basically said “No”. Of course God didn’t stop there. God went on to tell Paul that it is when he is weak that the power of God work best.
I wondered why. An understanding came to me that when a person who is about to be used by God feels weak, it simple mean that he is no longer functioning on his own ability; experience and skill. And when a person who is in such a state of condition but yet sees the power of God flowing – it simply means ‘it got to be God who is working’ – and not the power of a man!
Many times, we see weakness as a barrier but it is a platform for God to work. When we walk through hard times, we have to learn to rely on God’s help because what we possess on our own will not be sufficient. We need God’s strength.
But do remember this when you are going tough times. Firstly, His grace will be there to sustain you; to strengthen you and to help you to endure and go through it. Secondly, His strength will come upon you and you will see the miracles coming upon your situation as you endure by faith.
Do you feel weak? Do you feel that you have come to the end of yourself? Wait and pray and trust God that the end of man’s ways is the beginning of God’s ways!
Ps Lawrence.
