Day 98 Movement Control Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
Daniel 7:25a (KJV)
“And he shall speak great words against the Most High and shall wear out the saints of the Most High….”
“Wear out the saints”…..did you wake up sometime with a weary heart; a weary mind and a weary body?
How come?
Weariness comes when we are facing a prolonged situation or problem.
Weariness come as a result of the work that you are doing; the responsibilities that you have been carrying.
Weariness is experienced when you are handling or relating with a difficult person at your working place or even at your home.
Weariness resulting from family burdens that you are carrying – someone who needs care; raising young children; juggling between work and family.
But these weariness is not just physical weariness….yes, we do feel tired physically, but what can further affect us is……
– the weariness that we feel in our mind.
– the weariness of the soul; our emotions; our feelings; our total being.
Ps. 69:3 – I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
All of us face weariness in one form or another and it is not because of your lack of faith and it can be the work of the enemy as you can read from Daniel 7:25.
What can we do about this weariness? I have discovered 3 things…
His Promises will replace our Weariness.
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31
“Man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out from the mouth of God.
Use His Word to gain strength and to overcome your weariness.
His Presence will help us to deal with our Weariness.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
Spend time with Him. He will do what He has promised.
His Praise will overtake our Weariness.
“The Joy of the Lord is our Strength.” Neh. 8:10.
When we worship and praise Him, something happens in the environment. Like King Saul who felt depressed and anxious, it was David playing on the harp that brought relief to his soul and spirit.
Switch on songs of praise and worship and fill your surrounding with praises to Him and you will experience the refreshing touch of His Spirit upon you!
