Senior Pastor’s Devotional
Day 15 Movement Restriction Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
The scripture reads,
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed by your name. (10) Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
What is the Kingdom of God? We often think of this as the futuristic Kingdom that is to come. There are 3 expressions of the Kingdom of God.
a. The Kingdom of God is a place in which we call as ‘heaven’ also.
Mark 14:25 – Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in the kingdom of God.” Mark 14:25. (meaning ‘heaven’)
b. The Kingdom of God is exhibited here on earth when His power is seen.
Matthew 12:28 says, ” But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God* has come upon you.”
c. The Kingdom of God is here when God’s goodness are displayed.
Romans 14:17 -“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
– It is like the expression, “heaven on earth”.
With a proper understanding of the “Kingdom of God”, how then should we pray, “your kingdom come”?
What should we be praying for?
We should then pray that….
*That His Power will be demonstrated in every need.
*That His righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit will be upon our lives, our families, our neighbourhood and even our nation and ultimately, many will be saved to enter into the Kingdom of God.
Lord – let your Kingdom come in our world situation today!
