Day 9 Movement Restriction Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
The Bible tells us…
“He forgives us of our sins.”
“He takes away our iniquities and shame.”
“He cleanses us of all unrighteousness.”
“He tell us – do not be afraid!”
These truths are in our Bible, but it doesn’t mean they’re automatically in our daily practices!
The feelings of anxiety, fear are real and they can lock us down. How do we respond to crisis? That will tell us how much that we have learned has been translated to daily life.
In the book of Acts, Paul and Silas were not only dealing with the spiritual chains, they were shackled by literal ones. They were in prison for sharing the gospel and had every excuse to remain negative in their situation.
But read the Word and see how they responded.
“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”
Acts 16:25-26
Paul and Silas could have chosen to allow their circumstances to affect them and discourage them and stop them in their trust of the Lord. But look at what they did in the prison cell? The prayed and worshipped the Lord!
When their chains had fallen off, Paul and Silas still had a decision to make.
Would they choose to quickly leave the prison cell or would they carry on their mission? They stayed and got the jailer and the whole family to become believers!
When we are free in the inside, we will be free on the outside too – no matter the circumstances.
The truth will set us free!
