Day 86 Movement Control Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
God…will…make a way of escape.”
1 Cor 10:13.
I love this caption. It says, “Happiness keeps you sweet. Trials keep you strong. Sorrow keeps you human. Failure keeps you humble. Success keeps you glowing. But only God keeps you going!” How true!
For every problem, God has a solution. But it may not be the solution you have in mind! Satan’s strategy is to defeat you by wearing you down, so winning is not a matter of how soon you can escape but it is a matter of endurance at times.
Tenacious faith and commitment is one of the great themes of Scripture. It’s also the secret of victory. In Acts 16:27- 29, we read of how the prison doors were miraculously opened. Paul and Silas realized that God’s plan for them was not merely to escape immediately but to stay there and win the jailer and his family to Christ. Sometimes God’s “way of escape” is to keep you where you are and use you to bring glory to His name. Therefore, pray for patience!
There is a reason why there is a ‘delay’ to your escape too. God may be doing some mysterious works that we may not be aware of!
There are definitely battles or trials that are not finished overnight. But reread the verse of 1 Cor. 10:13 carefully. Take note especially, “But will, with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” The Living Bible says, “So that you can bear up patiently against it.”
God is looking for people who are able to bear up under training then go out and win the greater battle with the Enemy. So, don’t always choose the easy way out.
