Day 103 Recovery Movement Control Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”

“Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece.”
Judges 6:39

In our Christian life, faith is very important. The Bible tells us that ‘without faith, it is impossible to please Him. (Heb. 11:6). Let me share from Bible examples, the 3 levels of faith.

The first level is being able to believe only when we see some sign or have some feelings or emotions. Gideon is an example here. He used the fleece as a sign for the confirmation of his calling and to anchor his faith.

The second level of faith believes even when all feelings are absent. The woman with the issue of blood had this level of faith. She reached out to touch the hem of Jesus garment at that point where she was just simply desperate.

The third level is a faith that believes even when circumstances, emotions, appearances, people and human reason all seem to be unfavourable. Paul exercised this level of faith when he said, “When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved.” Acts 27:20, then nevertheless went on to say, “Keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me. “ Acts 27:25.

We need to apply these different levels of faith at different times of our life. The world says that “seeing is believing”, but God wants us to believe in order to see. The psalmist said, “I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalms 27:14.

Which level of faith should you be applying now into your situation? May the Holy Spirit be our guide and teacher and to help us to rise up to each situation in faith.
