MINISTRY REPORT FOR 2022

Shalom,

Greetings in the Lord!

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come ~ Matthew 24:14 (ESV).

I close my eyes, I have been on a mission field for 15th years, time flies. Being a missionary is never easy, and I never thought I would be chosen to be a missionary. Also, I walk by faith and not by sight. An independent missionary.

It all started when I was robbed and stabbed by robbers in May 2005. A stabbed almost touch my heart, 4 stabbed in my body and 2 stabbed in my left leg. Then I have to drive to the hospital and the distance is 49 miles while I bleed. When I arrived at the hospital and admitted immediately. I left for a while but the Lord brought my body back.

A few weeks later, I met a Member of Parliament and he is a Christian. He told me that God saved me and I will be His testimony for the nation. Then he invited me to join his Home Fellowship. Since then, my life has changed. I have decided to give my life to God and let God  determine my future.

In 2007, the Lord wants to stop working and prepare to serve his purpose. But I deny His calling. Then my monthly salary was reduced from $1,350 to $340. I resist, I don’t want serve. My car broke down for the third time and I gave up. I told the Lord, You won and I lost. I have struggled to survive without much saving. Then the Lord called me to prepare my heart to serve His mission. So I shared with my church, but my pastors don’t agreed for me to serve abroad, and telling me that God can wait. Serve the church first and go later. However, God continued to speak to me and prepared to leave. So I asked Him … where should I go? He replied “Wait”. So I wait.

On 14 September 2007 God spoke to me, is it time to leave and I asked him the same question? Then He replied … “Go to Bangkok, and try to meet the Jewish Rabbi.” The next question I asked him … “I don’t have enough money to go to Bangkok because I had US$100 in all my savings. Then God replied … “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of your needs.” I still doesn’t understand how God’s work.

On 21 September 2007, I decided to walk in faith and begin my missionary journey in faith, trusting in the Lord every moment. I left nothing at home, and I carried one backpacker bag and a luggage. I took a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Penang and then I took a train from Penang to Bangkok.

I can barely imagine how my wife and I got through the arduous mission without much support and traveling to Thailand, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Turkey and United Kingdom. God gives us the passion for sharing the gospel of love with the locals wherever we go, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. All for His Glory!

Next month will be my 15th years in the mission field and I want to thank God for His faithfulness and goodness to my wife and me. Furthermore, I am still preparing my mission video and it will be released next month.

God is good and all the time.
