Day 62 Movement Control Order – “Strategic Psalm 91 Watch”
Hebrews 12:2 (NIV)
“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”
What do we focus on?
Do we focus on the past or on the future? Do we focus on ourselves or on God? Do we focus on the status quo or on moving forward? Do we focus on the problem or potential? What we focus on will decide on our success and failure.
There are 3 things about God that our faith must learn to focus on.
The first is to focus on what God has done. The Bible reveals God’s awesome track record of multiplying minimum resources for maximum impact.
The second thing our faith must focus on is what God can do. God has demonstrated His gracious willingness and His glorious power to multiply and transform us.
The third thing our faith must focus on who God is. He is God who multiplies, what we put in His hand, for His glory.
Gideon is one fine example. Originally, he had 32,000 in his army. God trimmed it down to only 300. If 32,000 was insufficient to meet the enemy’s army of 135,000, then 300 was unthinkable! In man’s mind, numbers/size may be everything. In Kingdom mathematics however, things are quite different.
“Everything minus (- ) God = Nothing.”
“God plus (+ ) Nothing = Everything.”
We say, “I am nothing.” but God says, “I am everything you will ever need! No wonder Paul could say, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me!”
Give your best and let God do the rest. God delights in using small things in a big way!
