Kid’s Kingdom

Concerned by the poor standard of English among children from lower income families and their inability to afford tuition fees, Charis Christian Centre began Kid’s Kingdom, to provide an avenue for these children to obtain free English lessons. At Kid’s Kingdom, the children are taught to read, write and speak English through fun and interactive methods such as storytelling, games, craft and educational outings.

Classes are conducted every Saturday morning by a dedicated team of volunteers from various professions. There are currently 80 students attending Kid’s Kingdom. The volunteers ensure students learn in a secure and caring environment where they will not only flourish academically but also relationally.

The overarching mission of Kid’s Kingdom is to enable generations from such backgrounds to secure a better future through education and by instilling values of love, respect and responsibility in children.
